cl2rAeromec celebrated 20 years - On March 15th 2011, Aeromec celebrated 20 years of existence. To celebrate this important event, Aeromec offered to its current employees, to its former employees, friends and some of OMNI distinguished employees, a fine dinner with moments of  healthy companionship, lots of joyful moments, sharing of old stories, a slideshow presentation remembering its history and, at the end, some gifts were distributed. We would like to wish all our employees, friends and colleagues heartfelt thanks for all the effort and diligent efforts!

 

Collaboration Program between Aeromec and Bombardier in Amsterdam - It has been accomplished in Schipol – Amsterdam, Holland - a program of collaboration between Bombardier and Aeromec to perform Learjet Aircraft Maintenance. Such cooperation has been very fruitful for both companies.

 

Line Maintenance Station in Lagos, Nigéria - The approval of the Line Maintenance Station in Lagos, Nigeria is already accomplished. It was performed an internal audit to ensure that this Line Maintenance station meets all applicable requirements.

  

Line Maintenance Station in Abu-Dhabi and Papua New Guinea - The approval of the Line Maintenance Station in Abu Dhabi and Papua New Guinea is on-going.

  

Construction of Hangar in Beja - The agreement was already signed for construction of a hangar at Beja Civil Airport, in the amount of 5 million Euros. The new services offered by Aeromec on the new airport infrastructure will be check A and check C maintenance. The new hangar will have an area of about 7.500m2, equipped with a wide range of technologies, equipment and tools that represent the state-of-the-art in the field of maintenance, inspection, repair, testing and replacement of components of large aircraft. The infrastructure will be able to carry out maintenance to a maximum of three aircraft simultaneously, namely: two Airbus A319/A320/A321 and an Airbus A310 or two Airbus A319/A320/A321 and one Airbus A330.

  

Aeromec in Le Bourget, Paris - Aeromec was represented in the Portugal Pavilion in the "Le Bourget Air Show 2011" in Paris, France, from June 20th to 26th, to publicize the company, its services and future projects, continuing to be a prominent element in the aircraft maintenance scenario, not only nationally but also internationally.
